Sarawak Report misrepresents Murum dam with outdated photographs
Sarawak Report, in its earlier postings, has been down
loading photographs, that must have been taken by its mediocre followers, three
or four years ago when works were still in progress to construct the proper
longhouses to resettle the Penans, who had been leading either a semi nomadic
or nomadic lifestyles, affected by the construction of Murum hydroelectricity
dam to generate 944 MW of electricity. Of course, the scene was disorganized and chaotic. The area was deep in the jungle in the middle of nowhere inhibited by semi-nomadic Penans. The mortality rate of the community is very high and the average lifespan is only 34%. thet risk being extinct not too long in the future if they are left on their own. Even London was in chaos and in a state of disarray when
preparing for the London
Olympic to such an extent that several venues of the games, where tickets were
reported to have been sold, out were empty during the actual games. If Clare were to have a bit of logic, she would not have downloaded
the photographs as they reflected
either her ignorance of the local situation or that she is blinded by her rage
and anger by her failure to topple Abdul
Taib Mahmud as the Chief Minister of Sarawak in spite all her lies about him.Clearly Clare is an evil person,
who sees everything evil in her attempts to convince the people, outsiders
mainly to see and know the so-called evil things happening in Sarawak.
In Sarawak, Clair is regarded as a liar and Sarawak
Report, the garbage of the Opposition. Of course, the most ridiculous thing that Sarawak Report did
was to sink a video about the Penans complaining about their new houses. The question, of course, is since when either
semi nomadic or nomadic Penans have proper houses? Or since when the Penans know how to have
furniture in their houses, which comprise of mainly makeshift huts?

The way of life that foreign NGOs and mercenary writers want to preserve for the Penan community.
Generally, the people are getting very impatient with the
way that the government has been spending too much attention to the Penans to
such an extent that it is being accused of pampering the small community. The common question is why the semi nomadic or nomadic
Penans, about 300 of them, cant live other live like the rest of the community
or other ethnic groups? At one time, members of the Bidayuh community were
frowned upon as timid and most disorganized people. Are they now?
